2021/2022 Advisor – Alison Bellmon

For 2021/2022 we have increased our number of contracted hours with Career Connect to ensure students are receiving extra face to face time throughout the pandemic to help with valuable tailored guidance for each individual. ,

This is how we will utilise our Careers Advisor in 2021/2022 in providing the following services:

  • Year 7 – Identified Group Sessions (Summer Term).
  • Year 8 – Identified Group Sessions (Summer Term).
  • Year 9 – Identified cohort of students that need support and direction – Group sessions (Spring Term).
  • Year 10 – Identified cohort of students that need support and direction – Group sessions (Spring Term),
  • Year 11 – Identified cohort of students that need support and direction to have short 20 minute 1:1 interview. Remaining students to have a short group session to ensure correct guidance with Post 16 destination (Spring term).

Our Careers adviser is Alison Bellmon and she is generally based in the school all day on a Thursday in the CEIAG Hub (N6).

Students are encouraged to drop in and see Alison at breaks or lunchtimes to seek any guidance or find out information on potential career steps. Alison will follow this up with a record of the discussion and any actions.
