Celebrating GCSE success as students receive 2026 results

Students and staff at Ormiston Chadwick Academy are celebrating today as Year 11 students collect their GCSE results, marking the culmination of years of learning, growth and perseverance.

We are celebrating the achievements of its students, who have shown resilience and ambition throughout their studies and are now preparing to take their next steps in education, training or employment.

This year’s cohort achieved particularly highly in biology and 3D design, with 100% of the cohort achieving Grades 4-9, as well as chemistry, hospitality and catering, and BTEC sport, in which 90% of students achieved Grades 4-9. The school also saw improvements across English, maths, computer science, art and music.

The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education.

While all students have achieved well, some individual achievements include:

  • Macy (Sin Tung) achieved two Grade 9s, five Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and a Grade 6, on top of her outstanding accomplishment of Grade 9 in Chinese that she secured in Year 10.
  • Connor achieved two Grade 9s, five Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and a Grade 6.
  • Isaac achieved two Grade 9s, three Grade 8s, three Grade 7s and two Grade 6s.

Ormiston Chadwick Academy is committed to creating exceptional education and learning which ensures pupils leave with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities which prepare them exceptionally well for life beyond education. As part of Ormiston, the school is dedicated to providing the highest quality education and ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, gains the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
